Continuing up the pitch to midfield, where our Argentine #8 will have a tough task; facing Fulham’s fiery players in the middle of the park. Sasa Lukic is the league’s most cautioned player with 12 yellows, which is an insight into the way The Cottagers set up and approach midfield battles.

Momentum swung hugely in the last meeting with our SW6 neighbours, as Fulham secured a last-minute 2-1 victory with two goals scored after the 80th minute. Playing at the heart of our side, and potentially wearing the captain’s armband if Reece James is unfit to start, Enzo will be important in setting the tone of our style and attitude, ensuring we remain professional throughout.

Beyond the mental aspect, Enzo has proved himself as a creator and goalscorer this campaign, much-welcomed additions to his game since last season. He is effective when operating in deeper areas, capable of spraying passes wide to release players on fast breaks.

Equally, Enzo has demonstrated that he is a threat when arriving late, during a slower buildup, careering into the penalty area and providing a genuine goal threat. As we are all aware, the whole team has hit a goalscoring slump of late, with Marc Cucurella being our top scorer in 2025.

It is easy, and perhaps overly simple, to look at just Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson to end the side’s collective drought, Enzo enjoyed a derby-goal against Tottenham, if needed let’s hope he can do the same again here.
