31. Marc Guiu (Chelsea)
Next up is Spanish forward Marc Guiu who joined Chelsea from Barcelona for a reported €6 million fee in 2024. Many thought that he would be sent on loan considering his age but the 19-year-old staked his claim to the backup striker spot and quickly proved he was worthy of the role.
Guiu has made 13 appearances for the Blues across all competitions but was at his best in the Europa Conference League where he notched 6 goals in 8 matches. He was the top scorer in the group stage of the competition including a hat trick against Shamrock Rovers.
It’s a shame that Guiu was injured in the West Ham match in early February as he would have been slotted in as a starter while Nicolas Jackson was out, coincidentally suffering his injury in the same match. Guiu will still have his chance once he returns from injury and he clearly has a bright future at Chelsea.
