Chelsea are the Premier League's biggest spenders so far this summer.
The Blues have already agreed multiple deals, in and out, with their latest being an eye-watering £117 million deal with Aston Villa for Morgan Rogers.
Should Xabi Alonso's side also land Maxence Lacroix, the club's spending will top £250 million.
And despite how busy they've already been, they're not done yet with another midfielder heavily linked with moving to Stamford Bridge.
Alex Scott could be next big transfer after rejecting new Bournemouth contract
Midfielders have been the hottest property this window.
In addition to Rogers becoming a Chelsea player, Elliot Anderson moved to Manchester City for an almost-identical fee (£116 million) earlier in the window with Chelsea's Andrey Santos going to Manchester United for £50 million.
Spurs have also done a lot of work rebuilding the centre of the pitch. The Lilywhites moved quickly to land Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes from Newcastle United and West Ham, respectively, for a combined £185 million.
And even though Rogers is soon-to-be unveiled, it is believed the Blues still want another central midfielder, and according to Sky Sports, remain interested in Bournemouth's Alex Scott.
The 22-year-old enjoyed an excellent breakthrough campaign at the Vitality Stadium last season, playing a pivotal role under Andoni Iraola. The young Englishman started 34 times in the league and was one of the first names on the Cherries' team sheet.
As a result, the former Bristol City academy star is now on the shortlists of some of England's biggest clubs.
Chelsea's chances of signing Scott
There are multiple clubs interested in the Cherries' number eight, but Chelsea, along with Manchester United and Arsenal are viewed as the midfielder's three likeliest destinations.
Interestingly, Sky Sports claim all three clubs' have been put on red alert after it emerged the 22-year-old has refused a new contract despite Bournemouth making him several offers.
Just like Rogers, Scott could soon find himself at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war.
Alonso was instrumental in the England international moving to west London. Despite being on the verge of going to Arsenal, the Spaniard stepped in and convinced him to change his mind. And the new Chelsea manager might have to work his magic again
During his three years at Bournemouth, Scott, who has just two years left on his deal, has scored six goals and provided five assists in 89 matches in all competitions.
