Chelsea are back in action on Sunday, when they head to North London to take on city rivals Arsenal in their biggest test of the season so far. The Blues have won both Premier League games, but they have struggled at the back, conceding five goals along the way, and losing Enzo Fernandez may not help.
Scoring has been no issue, but current Premier League champions, who are extremely tight at the back, will provide an interesting test for that dangerous-looking front line.
Ahead of Sunday's big game at the Emirates Stadium, we have rounded up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams.
William Saliba - Out
Saliba is expected to be out until some time in November due to a back injury that required surgery in the summer. Arteta said in his last address on the defender: "Wilo, obviously not much, he’s in conservative load management right now, so that's going to take a while."
Jurrien Timber - Out
Timber will be out for another week or so, it appears. Arteta said last week: "Jurrien is progressing really well. Let's see how he ends up this week. It's the third week in a row that he's been outside, and we have increased his load. So he's on the right trajectory. If everything goes well, I think next week we're going to step it up again."
Cristhian Mosquera - Doubt
Mosquera is a doubt after picking up what seems like a small issue. Arteta said after the Villa game: "He’s fine, but he was feeling like he was about to have something, and that’s why we have the bench that we have, and that’s why we had to bring Ezri (Konsa) in."
Marco Palestra - Doubt
Alonso has said that Palestra would 'hopefully' be available this weekend. He will go down as a doubt for now, but we will get more from Alonso in his press conference on Sunday.
Jordan Henderson - Doubt
Henderson is expected to miss another week with his wrist injury, but Alonso said last week: "[Waiting for him to be given] the green light to play soon." That means he cannot be ruled out, with the expectation that he is close to playing.
Moises Caicedo - Doubt
Caicedo picked up a fresh issue last time out and will be a doubt until confirmed otherwise. Alonso said after the game: "Hopefully, it’s not new, and it wasn’t more than last time... He was cautious to stop, to say that his feeling was not the best. We need to assess during the week that it wasn’t something else."
