Robert Sanchez: 7.5/10
Sanchez reignited the goalkeeper debate among Chelsea fans when Pape Matar Sarr took a long shot from 30 yards and scored, although the goal was disallowed after a lengthy check. Sanchez, however, showed why he's still the best keeper at the club, making a crucial save that kept the home side ahead and played a key role in the win.
Malo Gusto: 7.5/10
Gusto was fantastic in his duels, winning 3/4. His crossing was poor, but he was generally good, especially in his distribution and positioning. He overlapped well and even underlapped when needed. Playing the full 90 minutes shows the trust Enzo Maresca now has in him.
Trevoh Chalobah: 7.5/10
Chalobah was very good on the night. He won his duels, though he didn’t contest many. His passing was quite good, including his long passing, and he even created one of Chelsea's four big chances in the game. He didn’t make any fouls, but that’s likely because he didn’t contest many duels.
Levi Colwill: 6.5/10
Unlike Chalobah, Colwill contested many duels but lost all but one. The young centerback won 1/7 duels, including 0/4 ground duels. Colwill has struggled with duels for a while now, averaging a 52% ground duel win rate, which is quite poor compared to other top-six centerbacks. The former Brighton defender also conceded 3 fouls, lucky to escape without a booking. His passing was good, though.
Marc Cucurella: 7/10
The Spaniard was much better defensively than in possession. He won all but one of the duels he contested, which is impressive for a fullback, especially considering the wingers he faced. His long passing was poor, but he made up for it with solid tackles. He contributed well in the final third, despite not creating any chances.
