Midfield
Moises Caicedo: 8/10
Caicedo has remained Chelsea's most consistent player and midfielder this season. While Enzo Fernandez has received praise for goal contributions, Caicedo has been the glue in the middle of the park, often single-handedly running the midfield. The Ecuadorian international won three crucial fouls, winning 8/9 ground duels and completing all five long balls he attempted.
Enzo Fernandez: 7.5/10
Fernandez was much worse than his pivot partner in possession, completing just 1/3 long balls and 1/5 crosses. He was also poor out of possession, winning just 3/9 duels he contested. However, he created a clear-cut chance and ultimately won Chelsea the game with a perfectly timed header in the 50th minute.
Cole Palmer: 8.5/10
Palmer was Chelsea's best shooter and creator on the night, as expected. He took the most shots on target and created the best chances. His passing was excellent, and his crossing even better. The cross he made for Fernandez to score the winner was exquisite.
