Midfielders
Enzo Fernandez: 6/10
Fernandez was busy, which he needed to be, as West Ham are no easy opponents. However, he was careless with his passing and failed to take control of the game. Completing just 75% of his passes, he lost possession too often, especially given that he didn’t create any chances.
Moises Caicedo: 7/10
Caicedo was excellent defensively and in possession. His tackling was flawless, and he won the majority of his duels. He also contributed to the ball progression, making one more progressive pass than Fernandez.
Cole Palmer: 8/10 - Chelsea Man of the Match
Palmer played well, though he couldn’t add to his goal tally. He created a team-high three chances and made significant contributions defensively. Two out of Chelsea's three shots on target came from the former Man City forward.
