Chelsea are currently contemplating a move to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. Despite being the top scorer, the Old Lady would be willing to let him leave.
Chelsea are currently tinkering with their options in the January transfer window. There is expected to be a sonic-boom at Stamford Bridge in the coming two weeks, considering there is a boom more often than not in the transfer window.
For what feelings like an aeon now, Chelsea have been linked with a move for a new striker. This striker cannot be any old striker (since the Blues have had their fair share) but instead it needs to be a striker who can come in and elevate Chelsea's title hopes.
Nicolas Jackson has been a brilliant player but he hasn't been a brilliant goal-scorer. Furthermore, Christopher Nkunku is linked with a move away from the club, so fresh blood must be brought in.
Chelsea consider move to sign top goal-scorer from Juventus
According to a report from The Times, Chelsea are currently considering a move for Dusan Vlahovic. It is believed the Blues were inspired by their talks to sell Renato Veiga to Juventus and now they want to sign the Old Lady's top goal-scorer.
What's more is that Juventus would not block the move from happening. Despite being the club's top goal scorer so far this season, Vlahovic hasn't had it easy since signing for the Italian giants.
Indeed, there is believed to be remaining discontent between Vlahovic and the Juventus fans, as well as the backroom staff. He is remaining professional by doing his job as a striker but the consensus is that both parties would benefit from Vlahovic leaving Juventus as soon as possible.
As mentioned, Chelsea need to sign a striker. This has been the case for the last few transfer windows but the clock is truly ticking now. Hopefully, this is put right in the current transfer window.
