Chelsea are always on the lookout for the best talent around the world of football. They already have Estevao making a mark for them at Stamford Bridge, Kendry Paez and Mike Penders are out on loan at Strasbourg, Geovany Quenda will arrive next summer and Dastan Satpaev is already scoring at European level at 17 years of age.
That is quite the list of talent already. But it looks like the Blues are keen to add to it. And they have a Paris Saint-Germain midfielder on their radar.
As reported by TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur made a late move for Senny Mayulu this summer, while Chelsea and Man City have been tracking the midfielder as well. But at this point, PSG are not believed to be ready to consider an exit.
That being said, Mayulu has only a couple of years left on his current deal. So, if his contract situation does not change, then PSG might have to consider an exit soon rather than risk losing him for free in the summer of 2027.
Chelsea interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder
Mayulu is 19 years of age but he has already made 44 appearances for PSG so far. He has scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists in that time.
Mayulu's biggest moment so far came in the Champions League final against Inter Milan. Of course, it was a one-sided contest and many might have even forgotten the goal scorers on the night, unless they are a PSG fan. He did score their fifth goal in the 5-0 win though.
It remains to be seen if these links with Mayulu lead anywhere or not. These days, it feels like Chelsea have their eyes on pretty much every top youngster in the game. And credit to them, they have managed to sign a good portion of them.
