Chelsea might have been on a good run of results but beating FC Barcelona will be a different level of task for the Blues. Then again, one could argue that this team is better equipped at dealing with those who will make a go rather than the ones who are more interested in sitting back and taking a point from Stamford Bridge.

We all know what kind of football Barcelona like to play. And Chelsea might have the perfect combination to stop them, if they are willing to take a bit of a risk.

Andrey Santos was the standout performer for Chelsea at the weekend, winning balls from the Burnley players for fun. Why not start him alongside in the middle of the park?

Those two will not let the Barcelona midfielders settle and allow them to play the football that they like to play. On the other hand, Enzo Fernandez can be moved a bit further up the pitch into the number 10 role.

In the absence of Cole Palmer, we have seen Chelsea struggle to find a consistent number 10. Lately, Joao Pedro has been handed that role while Liam Delap has started up top.

Now, Delap has only one goal to his name in 13 appearances. And Pedro is perhaps more likely to score if given the chance up top, even though he is not the perfect number 9 either.

On the other hand, Fernandez is very capable of playing as a number 10 and one could argue that it will help him make those well-timed runs into the box, which have brought Chelsea so many goals lately. Also, his excellent passing means that he can spray out balls to the pacey wingers as well, while the Argentine is more than capable of putting in a through ball to the forward from tight situations.
