According to a Blues specialist journalist and insider, Chelsea Football Club currently have a three-man striker wishlist ready for upcoming transfer windows. CFC manager Enzo Maresca hasn't had that so-called marquee arrival under his watch at Stamford Bridge. And bosses of the west London outfit are now said to be keen to provide the Italian with the tools required to achieve. There is talk that the English capital team's hierarchy wish for the overall squad to be fashioned in Maresca's image, so to speak.

Meanwhile the Blues are playing in the Europa Conference League on this very Thursday night on Fulham Road. Armenian minnows FC Noah are the latest visitors to the Bridge for European football. Chatter amongst the media, and of course neutral as well as partisan fans, is that CFC will be able to bypass the Armavir club no sweat whatsoever. However, no professional group at this level should be underestimated at all. Although, a 'park the bus' remark was made ahead of the game. So what was that all about exactly?

Chelsea vs Noah

Chels are really going for it in midweek judging by the rather attack-minded starting lineup Maresca named for the occasion. If you weren't aware, the former Leicester City head coach cannot select Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Ben Chilwell nor Cole Palmer. The reason for that is because the four were not registered for this stage of the competition. Jadon Sancho is unavailable due to an ongoing illness and a knock.

Though Victor Jorgensen, Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo and Benoit Badiashile were selected as goalkeeper and his back line. Renato Veiga, Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Christopher Nkunku, Tyrique George and Marc Guiu round off the XI.

Noah could be in for a tough time at the Bridge if you ask me. And I reached that perspective more firmly after the comments from Rui Mota. The Noah's Ark gaffer won't, apparently, 'park the ark' whilst in England. And good luck to them!

What type of signings can we expect the Blues to make in the new year?

Unsurprisingly, the west Londoners shall be in the market for further acquisitions very soon. Speculation states that a new centre forward is wanted for the roster.

Ipswich Town man Liam Delap, Bayer Leverkusen's Victor Boniface, along with Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray were all mentioned as in the running. Delap is certainly making a name for himself this season.
