Ben Chilwell
One of the last remaining players from Chelsea’s 2021 Champions League-winning squad, Chilwell has seen his role diminish under Enzo Maresca. Currently on loan at Crystal Palace, the English left-back has been deemed surplus to requirements, with Chelsea even opting against keeping him as a backup despite lacking depth in his position. A summer departure looks increasingly likely.
Axel Disasi
After an impressive end to last season, Disasi seemed poised to be a key figure in Chelsea’s backline. However, a sharp decline in form saw him fall out of favor, leading to a January loan move to Aston Villa when a permanent transfer could not be secured. The French defender is expected to be among those heading for the exit in the summer.
Trevoh Chalobah
The Cobham graduate has endured an uncertain future at Chelsea, initially frozen out of the first team before a string of injuries led to his recall. Despite his return, Chalobah has struggled to cement his place in the squad. With Chelsea appearing reluctant to integrate him fully into their long-term plans, a move elsewhere seems imminent.
