Chelsea saw another draw in the Premier League against Brentford yesterday, although this time it wasn't goalless. Despite conceding a goal in the first half, the Blues rallied in the second half thanks to goals from Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo. But, the home team managed to equalise in the 93rd minute, leaving Enzo Maresca's side to share the points at the final whistle and a sense that two had been dropped rather than one picked up.

Five of the six first-team signings Chelsea made during their busy summer were to the final third of the pitch, as the front line saw a major revamp. They are Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho, and Facundo Buonanotte. Add Estevao to the mix as well.

The Blues also announced on Friday the acquisition of Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha on a pre-contract for next year. However, Chelsea are still being linked with a versatile forward capable of playing in multiple positions up top.

As reported by Fichajes, Chelsea have already reserved funds for a significant investment in 2026, with Kenan Yildiz being the top candidate to fill that role. However, they could require a figure close to €100 million.

Yildiz has become a vital player for Juventus, rapidly establishing himself in the starting lineup. He had a fantastic season with the Turin side last year, as he scored 12 goals and provided 9 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions. He has already scored once and assisted thrice this season in three league games, including two goal contributions in their recent 4-3 win over Inter Milan.

The 20-year-old generally plays on the left flank, although he can also play on the right or through the middle as well. The Turkish international has rapidly established himself as one of Serie A's most promising players due to his ability to deliver and excite in the final third.

Naturally, such potential will draw interest. In the summer, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona were all linked with Yildiz.

However, Juventus are believed to view Yildiz as vital to their long-term strategy and intend to build their future around him. So, it will be difficult for Chelsea to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

It is Chelsea's long-term strategy is to acquire talented players across various positions. Yildiz would support the club's objective of building a project around youngsters with world-class potential. His versatility and technical skill make him an invaluable asset to their quest for titles in England and Europe.
