Quite a few Chelsea players could be on their way out this summer. The club have added too many fresh faces since the change in ownership and it is only natural that some will have to leave in order to make space. And it looks like the goalkeeping ranks could be in for plenty of change over the coming weeks and months.
Most of the talk has been about the potential exit of Djordje Petrovic and understandably so. He was phenomenal on loan at Strasbourg and won their Player of the Season award. But it looks like Enzo Maresca does not view him as Chelsea's number one moving forward despite that.
As a result, it appears that Djordje Petrovic is seeking an exit this summer in search of a starting role. And Chelsea are rumoured to be ready to sanction an exit if a £25 million bid arrives on their table.
Petrovic is not the only goalkeeper who appears to be on his way out of Chelsea this summer. The club have already confirmed that Luke Campbell will depart when his contract expires at the end of this month.
Crystal Palace hold talks to sign Chelsea player this summer
As reported by the Mirror, Crystal Palace have held talks with Campbell with a view to sign him as a free agent. They are looking for a new stopper for their development squad.
Crystal Palace are not the only club looking to sign Campbell either. English Championship teams, including QPR, are believed to have approached the 19-year-old goalkeeper over a deal as well.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Campbell and where he ends up playing his football next season. One thing is for sure though, he will be leaving Chelsea at the end of his contract.
