The fans are hoping that Chelsea make some quality additions this January to back their new manager, who is most likely going to be Liam Rosenior of sister club Strasbourg. But at the same time, there are quite a few who could be heading for the exit door. One player, who could potentially depart this winter, started in the game against Manchester City and did a decent job as well.

There are those who have not gotten the playing time that they feel they deserve. Of course, the arrival of a new manager can change a lot of players' fortunes. Enzo Maresca is no longer at the helm, and the next head coach might have a very different view of some in his squad.

Filip Jorgensen is someone who could get more opportunities under the next manager. At the same time, he could be on his way out as well because there is interest in the goalkeeper.

In fact, concrete interest. As reported by Turkish outlet Sabah (via The Chelsea Chronicle), Besiktas have made an offer to sign Jorgensen on loan with an option to buy.

Jorgensen might have aspirations of playing at the next World Cup. His chances are not going to be helped if he continues to sit on the bench. So, it is not hard to see why there have been suggestions in the media that he is looking to leave in the middle of the season in search of first-team minutes.

Just because somebody wants to leave does not mean that Chelsea will definitely entertain their wishes in the middle of the campaign, though. If Jorgensen leaves, the club will need to bring in another goalkeeper. And that could throw their plans into a spanner.

Even if Jorgensen's exit is sanctioned, it is much more likely to happen in the summer than now. But you never know in football.
