Chelsea head to Everton buoyed by their performance against Bournemouth, and Xabi Alonso may be tempted to stick with the same starting XI.

Reece James is set for a three-month spell on the sidelines through injury, meaning he will be absent from our upcoming starting XI predictions.

So, let’s get into the starting XI expected at the Hill Dickinson tomorrow.

Predicted XI

GK - Emi Martinez

The number one ‘keeper has not got much competition but made a few saves in his first impressive performance of the season last time out.

CB: Josh Acheampong

Another one who had an impressive game against Bournemouth will keep his place over Wesley Fofana. He will look to kick start his Chelsea career.

CB: Maxence Lacroix

The French international is the most reliable option at the back and will hopefully keep Thierno Barry in his pocket for the full 90 minutes.

CB: Levi Colwill

Another player eager to put in a strong performance. The quality is there, and I reckon tomorrow could be the day it all clicks.

RWB: Marco Palestra

The only potential change would be replacing Pedro Neto with a more defensively minded option to provide greater balance against Everton’s strong left flank.

CM: Moises Caicedo

Moises is back and don’t we know it and need it. The difference he made against Bournemouth was good to see.

CM: Jordan Henderson

Two goals and an assist from the last game. He is a guaranteed pick in the starting XI to develop the Caicedo partnership.

LWB: Pep Chavarria

I thought he was outstanding against Bournemouth and showed that he is a more than capable replacement for Marc Cucurella.

AM: Cole Palmer

He hasn’t been at his best over the last two games and could perhaps make way for Estevão to get a chance. That said, he’s capable of turning it on at a moment’s notice.

Maybe a bit of FC 27 with Speed is all he needs to rediscover his form!

AM: Morgan Rogers

One of the undroppables on current form, he continues to make that blue shirt his own. His intelligent positioning will cause plenty of problems for the Everton defence.

ST: Joao Pedro

Second in the Premier League goalscoring charts, he is another undroppable over Danny Welbeck. The Brazilian will want to continue his goalscoring form.
