Chelsea have already signed a few players from English clubs this summer. Joao Pedro has been brought in from Brighton & Hove Albion. The Blues have a history of making signings from the Seagulls and the likes of Moises Caicedo and Marc Cucurella are currently amongst the best in the world. Hopefully, the Brazilian will follow suit. Also, Liam Delap was signed after Ipswich Town were relegated, and a £30 million release clause became active as a result.

Now, another player from a Premier League rival has been linked to Chelsea. And it has been confirmed that he is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, despite having offers from elsewhere.

Chelsea have added to their wingers department this summer, bringing in Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund. But with Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke leaving, and Mykhailo Mudryk's future in the game in doubt, they might need to make another signing there. That's why the links with Alejandro Garnacho continue to do the rounds.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Garnacho is keen on joining Chelsea. It was his priority in January and he wants the move this summer. The Blues are considering to bid later this month for the Argentine international, who is waiting for them as a priority despite bids from abroad.

If you ask us, it is starting to look likely that Chelsea will end up signing Garnacho this summer. There is clearly mutual interest between the two and Manchester United need to find him a new home.

Waiting until the latter portion of the summer transfer window means that Manchester United might need to lower their asking price further. It could be a very smart move on the part of Chelsea to leave things late.

Of course, there are plenty of concerns regarding a move for Garnacho. He is not a great dribbler and his decision-making has often been questioned. Off the pitch, there are murmurs about his attitude issues. But there have been claims that Chelsea have done background checks and are not concerned about that.
