Transfer Tips for GW21
Note: Cole Palmer is not included in these tips, as he should already be in your team by now. His inclusion is non-negotiable, especially after Saka’s injury.
Players to Hold
Nicolas Jackson
Despite four consecutive blanks, Jackson remains a key asset in Chelsea’s attack. His ownership has dropped to 21.2% at the time of writing, but the underlying stats still make him worth holding:
- Points: 5th among forwards
- xG (Expected Goals): 4th
- xGI (Expected Goal Involvement): 4th
- Shots on Target: 3rd
In Maresca’s system, Jackson is Chelsea’s undisputed striker. With favorable fixtures ahead, hold him for at least two more Gameweeks. However, if you don’t own him, there’s no urgency to bring him in.
Roberto Sánchez
Sánchez earned another three points in GW20 despite conceding late against Crystal Palace. With 69 points this season, he ranks fifth among goalkeepers despite playing two fewer games than many of his peers.
Key metrics:
- Saves: 4th
- Save Percentage (min. 5 apps): 2nd
- Goals Prevented: 6th
Chelsea’s low fixture difficulty makes Sánchez a solid pick. If he’s in your team, there’s no need to transfer him out.
