FPL GW24 Transfer Tips: Three Chelsea Players to Hold, Monitor, and Sell

State of Play for GW24

Chelsea suffered another agonizing defeat, falling to Manchester City in GW23. That makes it eight matches without a win against the reigning Premier League champions.

As predicted ahead of GW23, it was a high-scoring encounter, but Chelsea’s FPL assets once again failed to deliver. With DGW24 approaching, FPL managers will start shifting their focus to assets with two fixtures.

  • Form: Chelsea have lost three of their last six matches.
  • Scoring Stats: The Blues have scored 45 goals this season, ranking fourth.
  • League Position: Chelsea sit sixth in the Premier League, level on points with Bournemouth in seventh.

Chelsea’s Opponent – West Ham

West Ham fought hard for a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa in GW23. Graham Potter’s influence is already evident in their patterns of play, and they will be fired up for this London derby.

  • Form: West Ham have won just one of their last five matches, conceding in all of them. They have let in two or more goals in four of those five games. In fact, three of the last five games have had over 4.5 goals.
  • Goals Scored and Conceded: West Ham have netted 28 goals this season while conceding 44—only slightly better than the league’s bottom four. However, just 18 of those goals have come away from home.
