FPL GW24 Transfer Tips: Three Chelsea Players to Hold, Monitor, and Sell

Noni Madueke scored against Manchester City, but Chelsea assets continue to disappoint in FPL.
As we approach the first big Double Gameweek (DGW) of the season, here’s a breakdown of which Blues players to sell, hold, or monitor for Gameweek 24.

Player to Sell: Nicolas Jackson

Nicolas Jackson’s FPL returns have been underwhelming. He has failed to score in seven consecutive Gameweeks, managing just two assists in that time. That’s simply not good enough for a striker, especially considering the number of chances Chelsea create.

He squandered a golden opportunity against City that could have put Chelsea 2-0 up.

  • Most Transferred Out Forwards: Jackson is the fourth-most sold forward this week (142K transfers out), behind Chris Wood, Raul Jimenez, and Joao Pedro.
  • Ownership Drop: His ownership has declined from 16% to 12% since GW23.

With DGW24 approaching, there’s no reason to keep Jackson unless you have no free transfers available.

Potential replacements: Wissa, Gakpo (DGW24), or Ndiaye (DGW24).

Captaincy Picks

The undisputed captain for GW24 is Mohamed Salah due to his two fixtures. Many FPL managers will even use their Triple Captain chip on him.

Deadline

The transfer deadline for GW24 is Saturday, 1st February, at 11:00 GMT.
