Chelsea have built up quite a reputation for themselves when it comes to signing the best young talents from all around the world of football. That has often resulted in them overlooking experienced and proven winners. Of course, this strategy has divided the opinion of the supporters, and that will remain the case until or unless they can start winning on a consistent basis, like they had done under the previous ownership.

Whichever side of the fence you sit on, one cannot deny that Chelsea have gone all in on their vision. The club already have players like Estevao playing consistent football while the likes of Kendry Paez and Mike Penders are out on loan ,making an impression.

Several future signings have been sorted as well. One of the players set to arrive next year is Dastan Satpaev of Kairat Almaty.

Satpaev is considered the biggest talent of his generation in Kazakh football. At 17 years of age, he has scored 14 goals and provided 7 assists in 26 appearances in their top division. He also scored three times in the qualification rounds to get Kairat to their first-ever appearance in the Champions League this season.

So, it is understandable why high hopes surround a talent like Satpaev. Qairat Boranbaev, who is the chairman of the supervisory board of FC Kairat, has been quoted as saying:

"Until he turns 18, he won’t be able to move to England, so next season he will stay with us - playing the first half of the season for Kairat until June–August, and then he will join Chelsea’s first team."

So, it looks like plans are for Satpaev to join Chelsea's first-team. And one would imagine that the club will make a decision on his future after having a look at him over pre-season.

One would expect that Satpaev will eventually be sent out on loan, most likely to a club like Strasbourg. He is a phenomenal talent but one cannot expect an 18-year-old to come in and start playing regular football up top for a club like Chelsea.
