Chelsea has recorded a second consecutive loss in the league, and this one is even more embarrassing than the last. The Blues traveled to Kieran McKenna's Ipswich Town last night for Gameweek 19, and lost 2-0, marking Ipswich's first home victory against the visitors in 22 years.
Enzo Maresca has come under fire from Chelsea fans again after the team appeared less than threatening against a side with a fraction of its wage bill. Cole Palmer played relatively well, but only relatively. Some players had a stinker. Here are the Pride of London player ratings from that defeat.
Filip Jorgensen: 6/10
Jorgensen was not horrible, but he did not cover himself in glory either. He mistimed his run out for the first goal, conceding a penalty by getting to the ball late. However, the play broke down before it reached him, so the goal wasn’t entirely his fault.
Axel Disasi: 4/10
Disasi was horrendous. Simply put. His passing was fine, but everything else was sub-par. He lost some key duels, especially in the buildup to the first goal. His role in the second goal was more noticeable, as he fell for Liam Delap's pressing trap and passed the ball directly to him. It was a game to forget for Disasi.
Tosin Adarabioyo: 5.5/10
Tosin had a torrid outing against Ipswich. Like Disasi, his passing was good, but he was abysmal in duels. He lost 4/5 aerial duels, which is shocking for a center-back who stands at 1.96m.
Levi Colwill: 7/10
Colwill had a mixed game—great in some areas, poor in others. His passing was quite poor, though he did create a clear-cut chance. He misplaced all of the long balls he attempted, completing 87% of the 130 passes he made. He was careless with his passing, losing possession 20 times. However, he was impeccable in duels, winning all six he contested, including five aerials.
