Liam Rosenior still hasn't found his next job after he was sacked by Chelsea earlier this year.
The 41-year-old was controversially appointed as Enzo Maresca's successor at the start of the year and things couldn't have gone worse for him.
The former Hull City defender, who arrived from Strasbourg, lasted less than 110 days in the Stamford Bridge hot seat before being shown the exit door.
Interestingly, although his time at Stamford Bridge has seen Rosenior's reputation take a hit, the Englishman is on the radar of one Ligue 1 club.
Liam Rosenior on European club's shortlist
According to Le Parisien, Rosenior features high on Paris FC's shortlist to replace current manager Antoine Kombouare.
Kombouare was brought in at the end of February and tasked with keeping the French side in Ligue 1. He did a good job guiding the Parisians to safety but isn't expected to stay in the role next season.
And although Rosenior has so far preferred to keep a low profile, proven by Nice's recent failed pursuit, Paris FC could be the club to convince him to make a return to management.
Along with Rosenior, Marseille's Habib Beye is also on Paris FC's shortlist. It has emerged recently that Marseille are considering replacing the 48-year-old with former Lille boss Bruno Genesio in time for the start of the new 2026-27 season.
Latest links prove just how wrong Chelsea go it
Ever since he left his role at Chelsea, Rosenior has hardly been inundated with offers.
The 41-year-old was rumoured to be on Watford's shortlist before they decided to appoint Italian Alessio Dionisi on a two-year contract.
Aside from that, as well as these latest links to Paris FC, there has been very little talk of Rosenior being primed for another big job.
Viewed as one of the most exciting and upcoming young coaches in Europe not so long ago, Rosenior's disastrous spell at Chelsea has seen his stock plummet.
The former Chelsea head coach must feel like his decision to take the job at Stamford Bridge has done him more harm than good, and BlueCo should feel the same way.
There was absolutely no winner to come out of Rosenior's abysmal 106 days in charge. It was destined to fail from the get-go with these latest links serving as a reminder of just how badly the Chelsea ownership got it.
Let's hope Xabi Alonso, who will take charge from July 1, can ease the bitter taste still left in supporters' mouths.
