Manchester United 1-1 Chelsea: Moises Caicedo leads ratings in lucky draw
Marc Cucurella: 6/10
Cucurella was better defensively than Gusto but still allowed Man United to create chances down that left side. He created one chance, which is more than Madueke and Neto combined.
Enzo Fernandez: 6/10
Maresca deserves credit for dropping Fernandez, as the Argentine has struggled this season. Fernandez did not make a strong case for regaining his starting position either. The World Cup winner completed just 67% of his passes, despite attempting only 10. He also missed a good chance shortly after coming on.
Mykhailo Mudryk: 5/10
Mudryk offered nothing; the less said about his performance, the better. To put it in perspective, he played for 19 minutes and won 0/5 duels. Enough said.
Enzo Maresca: 5/10
Chelsea didn’t seem to have a clear plan—neither for attacking nor defending. The insistence on starting a right-back at left-back is puzzling, especially since it’s clearly not working. He earns no credit for bringing on an actual left-back at halftime. Chelsea remains ineffective at converting set pieces into shots. He should share the blame for the draw, as the Blues should have lost.
