Manchester United are a club that seem to be in constant need of rebuilds. That is the case this summer as well after they finished 15th in the Premier League last season. Despite that, the club have shown an eagerness to back Ruben Amorim in this transfer window, bringing in proven players like Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. Next on the wishlist is a striker and Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford lately.

On the other hand, there is believed to be interest on the part of Chelsea when it comes to Alejandro Garnacho. Unsurprisingly, there has been talk of a potential swap deal that would see the Argentine head to Stamford Bridge while Jackson would move to Old Trafford.

It is unclear whether Chelsea are ready to make such an offer. But Manchester United's stance on any such deal has now been cleared up.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, Man United are not interested in a swap deal involving Garnacho and Jackson. They are prioritising a move for Benjamin Sesko.

Jackson is a quality player. But he has not been able to find his finishing boots on a consistent enough basis, which is why Chelsea went out and signed two forwards this summer in the form of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

As a result, Jackson has slipped down the pecking order. Especially on the back of Pedro's brilliant performances at the Club World Cup.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for both Jackson and Garnacho. Of course, Chelsea's current focus will be on getting deals over the line for Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons before thinking of any other transfer dealings this summer.
