Substitutes and Manager
Enzo Fernandez (58'): 5.5/10
Fernandez didn’t make an impact, despite playing more than 30 minutes before added time. However, he did win some duels and was the most fouled player in the match. Perhaps he should have been named to the starting XI.
Noni Madueke (74'): 3/10
The less said about Madueke’s cameo, the better. This has become a worrying trend for the young Englishman and he badly needs a confidence boost.
Tyrique George: 3/10
George also had a quiet performance. Still, it's more senior minutes under his belt, which should help him going forward and he could see even more chances if Nico Jackson and Marc Guiu miss significant time.
Enzo Maresca: 3/10
Enzo Maresca’s side could not produce more than seven shots against a team that conceded seven goals last week. If that’s not grounds for a 3/10, I don’t know what is. After the match he painted the loss as a possible positive because it allows Chelsea to focus more on the Premier League and Europa Conference League. Not exactly a sign of the winning mentality we hope to see from Chelsea managers.
