Negatives

Terrible Home Atmosphere

Stamford Bridge continues to provide one of the worst atmospheres in football. The fans were silent, groans echoing around the stadium whenever the team attempted to play out from the back. There was barely any applause when players were subbed off, not even for Pedro Neto or Christopher Nkunku, despite the pair getting a goal and an assist each. As usual, the loudest support came from the away fans, despite their team being comfortably beaten and already more than likely to be relegated.

Before the match, a small group of fans protested outside the stadium for various reasons. However, that same energy was nowhere to be found in backing the team. Even when Chelsea were cruising at 4-0 with a few academy players on the pitch, the atmosphere remained flat. Both Pedro Neto and Levi Colwill made sure to show their displeasure toward those in the stands who were more focused on complaining rather than supporting the team after they scored.
