Chelsea escaped from the Vitality Stadium with a win against AFC Bournemouth, after a truly questionable performance from Enzo Maresca's men. No one expected the Blues to be on the back foot as often as they were.

Chelsea was under pressure from Andoni Iraola's men from the first whistle, with the Cherries piling pressure on the away side for the better part of the first 30 minutes. It took a special moment from Christopher Nkunku in the 86th minute to secure the three points.

There were commendable performances, and some that were less than palatable, here are the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of Chelsea's win on the road to Bournemouth:

The Good: Robert Sanchez and the three points

Chelsea will not always play well, and being able to win when you're not playing well will always be a positive. Nkunku showed elite skill dancing between two defenders, before slotting the ball past Mark Travers, who had had an excellent game up until then.

Nkunku's shot was one of three shots on target the Blues took in the game, underlining just what kind of game Maresca's men had. With just one draw, one win, and one loss this season, Chelsea needed this win, especially with Manchester United winning against Southampton and Liverpool losing at home to Nottingham Forest.
