3 takeaways from another comfortable trip to King Power Stadium on Sunday evening

3. Catarina Macario wasted no time in her return from that long-term ACL injury

Like Naomi Osaka in January, Macario was back like she never left the game. 641 days. Almost 92 weeks without a kick in a competitive football match. You'd think there would be some adjustment period to get back up to speed. Not for Macario, arguably one of the world's most talented forward-thinking individuals. Her first few touches were almost a bit of foreshadowing. The ex-Lyon star's confidence was oozing out of those boots.

Four passes were attempted, and four were completed. All on top of a composed finish. That's a night few CFCW fans at the King Power could have dreamed of. Don't expect her to start in Manchester, but don't be surprised if that Everton starting XI has Macario in that frontline or the midfield. Ramirez is going to need to rest up front with two number nines out for the campaign. The 24-year-old can provide that.

Hayes spoke like a content manager post-game, speaking on Macario's eventful return.

"She hasn't played football for more than 600 days, she came to Chelsea not fit to play," Hayes said. "For her to get this moment, I'm so immensely proud. She showed her quality, she's a super footballer and just what we need coming into the run-in. We're super proud. To the Chelsea fans, I'm leaving you a superb player, she's a world-class striker for a long term."
