Chelsea have offloaded a £71 million unwanted signing. The out of favour goalkeeper has moved to the Blues' Premier League opponents Bournemouth. Will Kepa Arrizabalaga be able to muscle Brazilian stopper Neto for the No.1 spot? I am not so sure that is the case. Nevertheless the switch has occurred.

Elsewhere in the CFC sphere, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given potentially false hope to fans of the west London club. Why do I say that? Because the striker in question who is targeted by the Stamford Bridge outfit was recently offered life-changing money by a Saudi Arabian team. While Victor Osimhen would probably be ideal on Fulham Road, is he likely to join from Napoli?

Kepa Arrizabalaga leaves Chelsea for Bournemouth whilst Djordje Petrovic set to go to Blues sister side Strasbourg

Chels' have gotten Arrizabalaga off the wage books, for now. The goalie's reputation far exceeds his skills. His confidence was also an issue and the passing quality was unsatisfactory for modern football.

So this is, while only temporary, a great bit of business for the Blues. Maybe Kepa can even do some good while with the Cherries and simultaneously make his name once again. That would consequently propel his career.

My forecast is, of course, only speculation and guesswork though. Kepa might perhaps repeatedly struggle in the English top-flight. Nevertheless his 'dream' to be back at Real Madrid didn't come true.

The Spaniard is actually contracted to Chelsea for another couple of seasons. A reality not ideal at this point. GOAL even suggest that the 29-year-old could possibly start for AFCB at the weekend.

Djordje Petrovic, the young CFC 'keeper, is also ready to temporarily move on. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Serbian will be at Strasbourg for the entirety of the 2024/25 campaign.

The former New England Revolution star's Chels deal runs for another six years until 2030. Moving to another side for opportunities in the first team is perfect for the now 24-year-old.

Victor Osimhen optimism may be shortlived at the Bridge

Journalist Ben Jacobs claims Napoli are expecting a bid for Osimhen via the English capital. Chelsea are obviously long-time admirers of the Nigeria international, although an agreement has never been found.

Ultimately two outfits are serious about signing Osimhen, says Romano: Al-Ahli and the Blues. Yet an unbelievable £25m-per-year on the table for the striker in Saudi may be telling here.
