The Bee’s striker wants a new challenge, but it will require a huge sum of upward of £100 million to price the English man from Brentford.

Ivan Toney has been playing his trade in the premier league for Brentford since the 2021/2022 season. In the past three seasons, Toney has scored 63 goals while providing 19 assists in 111 appearances in league games. That is an impressive 82-goal contribution in 111 matches. Toney won’t need any adaptations or adjustments to the premier league as he has been playing his trade in the league since 2021.

Reasons to be cautious 

Despite his experience in the premiership, Toney doesn’t have much experience in Europe, something which a team like Chelsea would highly value. His most prolific season came in the championship in the 2020/2021 season when he scored 31 goals in 45 appearances for Brentford. With a transfer fee in the region of £100, Toney wouldn’t be a wise choice considering he is 28 already.
