Chelsea star drops staying hint amid Solanke transfer suggestion
Gallagher is currently more valuable at Chelsea than he is on a rival Premier League team's roster, or a club residing in any of Europe's eminent five divisions. The England international is, of course, one of the few standout Blues of a currently uneven season now showing some promise. As he regularly captains the side, depending on Reece James's often unavailability, and in Ben Chilwell's absence, it is obvious that the regularly heroic midfielder is a Mauricio Pochettino favourite.
However, Pochettino may have to bow to pressure from Chelsea Football Club ownership. Otherwise he might perhaps enter a battle of wills with his employers. There is clearly a Blues policy in place to acquire very young and extremely promising elite talent. In addition to that factor, there is speculation in the media that Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali seek to sell academy graduates in order to take pure profit from potential sales. Gallagher is a CFC product, so to speak.
Gallagher is arguably not the right man to sell in January, as PoL view the situation. Again, the 23-year-old may not set the footballing world on fire or be the most outstanding asset. But he is a veritable EPL warrior in the middle of the pitch, with a decent skill set for the best league around. The former Crystal Palace loanee has now seemingly dropped a hint on social media regarding his CFC future:
"The caption read: "Great way to end the year with two wins! To captain alongside Marc [Guehi] was special as we’ve come a long way together. Thank you for all the support this year, see you all in 2024! [Hands raised emoji, blue heart emoji]."

The 'see you in 2024' alongside the blue heart could be construed as a major hint that Gallagher is at Stamford Bridge to stay. Now it is up to club and player to come to an agreement - or disagreement - on the star before anything happens in January."
Should Chelsea attempt to re-sign Dominic Solanke?
In my personal view, Napoli star Victor Osimhen is the marquee centreforward CFC require. Solanke, who began his career in west London, rates just behind Brentford's Ivan Toney on my scale. However, Jamie O’Hara and Ray Parlour believe Chels' should consider the Bournemouth man:
"O’Hara said: “They need a striker.”
Parlour added: “They’ve wanted a striker for ages…”
O’Hara said: “Go and get Solanke.”
Parlour responded: “Woah, that’s not a bad shout.”"
