Chelsea play their second home match in the space of six days as they welcome a struggling yet better Manchester United side at Stamford Bridge. The Blues drew 2-2 against a relegation battling Burnley side and squandered their lead twice in another frustrating display for the fans. As for United, they struggled against a well drilled Brentford side who were almost down and out after Mason Mount seemed to have secured all three points with a 96th minute goal, only for Kristoffer Ajer to cancel out the winner a couple of minutes after.

Pre-Match Analysis:

It was another disappointing outing from the Blues against a struggling Burnley side who came to Stamford Bridge with one win in their last 12 games. And from the beginning, Chelsea kept piling on the pressure on the visitors who sat back and played on the counter. CFC played majority of the game against 10 men of the Clarets and took the lead twice but continuous lapse of concentration meant that the home side could only take a point from the game. As for Man United, who played against the Bees, they were very lucky to come away with a point as they got peppered away from home and had the woodwork to thank a handful of times. In total the Red Devils faced 31 shots and could only muster 11 shots for themselves but almost got away with it as they opened the scoring in the 96th minute only to concede a couple of minutes later with the last kick of the game.
