Mykhailo Mudryk: 5/10
The question has been going around about whether Mudryk is more of a creator or just a high-volume shooter, and the Ukraine international showed - again - why he’s neither of those things. He did enough to justify starting this game, but not enough in this game to justify starting the next one.
Nicolas Jackson: 7/10
Jackson tried his best, but he ultimately couldn’t make headway, especially considering the 1.86m striker was battling physically with a 1.9m Raphael Varane and a 1.94m Harry Maguire. He only managed three out of eight duels won, two chances created and one shot.
Raheem Sterling (71’): 5/10
Sterling didn’t do much when he came on. He did some ball carrying and tried to act as an outlet to receive the ball and retain it in the final third.
Carney Chukwuemeka (71’): 5/10
Chukwuemeka was not able to influence the game much. His passing was simple and tidy though.
Trevoh Chalobah (75’): 6/10
Chalobah did his job and shored up the defense when he came on. His passing was very good, and he made an important interception.
Alfie Gilchrist (75’): 6/10
Gilchrist did the same as Chalobah.
Noni Madueke (89’): 7/10
Madueke’s only contribution was a heavy one, as he won the penalty in the that give Palmer the chance to tie the game up 10 minutes into added time.
