Considering the Blues' defense was all out of sorts on Sunday, dealing with an in-form Kafaji is going to be a real challenge. Can the home side keep its focus in those moments when it does have to be diligent in the backline? That's going to be a key question, especially with how clinical Hacken has been with such little possession. You would assume Hayes would keep the same two center backs in the starting XI, mostly because she doesn't really have a choice. It's hard to believe that Kadeisha Buchanan will get the nod given the trust Hayes and the entire coaching staff has in the Norwegian center half.
While many may want to see Hannah Hampton in goal at some point, that feels more likely away from London next week against this same opponent. Lauren James should move back to the right flank, opening up room for a healthy Guro Reiten on the left. Kaneryd and Kerr while real threats in the attacking third may get some rest following a grueling weekend match. Ashley Lawrence has been preferred to Eve Perisset in both UWCL matches so far, a trend that should continue.
