Domestic Cups are often an occasion for a promising Academy graduates to make their first team debut. While the likes of Alfie Gilchrist, Alex Matos, and Michael Golding have already made their debuts, Castledine has had to wait for his chance.

Castledine has been one of the standout players in Chelsea's Development team. The 18-year-old has 6 goals and 5 assists this season and has arguably been deserving of a first-team debut on multiple occasions prior to this game. John Terry has been a big admirer of Castledine, and the Chelsea legend will certainly hope that this is not the last time fans get to see this young, promising talent.
