If a fresh report is to be believed, there is a first signing in mind for Enzo Maresca at Chelsea before the Italian has even signed with the west London outfit. This is indeed a priority signing and one which the Blues fan base will surely be pleased with. A premium striker remains required at Stamford Bridge, in spite of Cole Palmer's heroics and Nicolas Jackson's efforts. Will someone like Benjamin Sesko, Ivan Toney or Victor Osimhen eventually be targeted by CFC this summer?

Meanwhile, The Pride of London comment as one existing Chels' centreforward could be moving across the English capital and facing the Blues next season. Should Armando Broja ultimately be sold or loaned?

New West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui in the market for Chelsea outcast - but has soon-to-be new Blues gaffer Enzo Maresca even assessed the player yet?

Clearly former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was not interested in integrating Broja into his starting XI. Maybe the Argentine wanted the Albania international as a supersub or in a role along those lines. Yet Broja was not content with playing second or third fiddle, so he went to Fulham Football Club temporarily.

Although, Rodrigo Muniz swiftly became the Cottagers' main main up front, leaving Broja in his wake. So it appears that the latter is not wanted at CFC or at their rivals FFC. Which leaves West Ham to claim the talented attacker. That is if incoming Blues boss Maresca doesn't rate Broja either.

Enzo Maresca's first and priority Blues signing revealed

Earlier on Thursday, PoL spoke about the goalkeeper situation at the Bridge. Basically it is alleged that Maresca isn't interested in duo Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez. To be honest, knowing the 44-year-old's system, his goalie must be absolutely proficient by foot. Therefore this apparent update is unsurprising.

Nevertheless, that judgement would leave Chelsea without a true No.1; considering Blues recruitment strategy, it won't be long until a fresh stopper arrives on Fulham Road. Three candidates have been mentioned as potential successors in the net.

However, that is not the department the current Leicester boss is prioritising when he's installed at CFC. Apparently, securing a competent goalscorer is the most important element on Maresca's transfer wishlist. And the man they want is Victor Osimhen of Napoli.

I think most people would agree that the 25-year-old will probably be a success in the Premier League. A 'fire sale' is suggested to fund the desired acquisition.
