Three stories caught our eye on Monday. First if all, Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has supposedly rejected Chelsea in the worst way of all. What does this mean for the Blues, and which striker will they go for now?

Secondly, midfield dynamo Conor Gallagher is set to leave Stamford Bridge. Many CFC supporters are upset that the star is seemingly being forced out of the west London club. The England international has a medical date for his prospective new side. Another Chelsea Academy product soon to exit the squad.

Thirdly, there were also a few eyebrows raised when Marc Guiu indicated what's next for him. It was slightly surprising to hear that the former Barcelona up-and-comer could be on his way out. But that transfer would only be a temporary one, reportedly. So, where is the Spaniard probably heading?

Marc Guiu drops partial Chelsea bombshell

Guiu has attracted a lot of interest since joining the Blues around one month ago. He also impressed during much of the tour of the United States. A prospect, nonetheless, but one of the more favourable appearing young CFC signings.

Because Enzo Maresca favoured the youngster over the preseason schedule, it was presumed, going by obvious signs, that Guiu could be a senior squad player at the Bridge for 2024/25. But that status currently appears increasing less likely.

The footballer himself indicated during an interview that he could indeed be loaned out. Although, Guiu's fan base shouldn't be too worried about him permanently leaving. The most promising of ballers are often given more high profile loans in order to refine their skills. Many times, those leaving temporarily gain much experience at the top level as well. Naturally they wouldn't necessarily receive the same attention or be given minutes required to develop at their parent teams.

So, where is Guiu's probable destination. Well, he'll hopefully be switching to an EPL outfit. That is the ultimate test and a most pertinent trial of his true abilities, as The Pride of London view the scenario. Incidentally, Conor Gallagher's Atletico Madrid medical is apparently set for early this week following agreeing personal terms.

Victor Osimhen declines to move to English capital

The striker from Nigeria won't be coming to the Premier League. Ostensibly, Osimhen has no interest in joining Chels'; a suggestion that must hurt. The 25-year-old purportedly wishes to sign for Paris Saint-Germain. CFC may now target Samu Omorodion.
