Centre back: Axel Disasi

Disasi has been one of the standout players in Chelsea's rear guard in recent matches. Previous injuries to Thiago Silva have provided Disasi an opportunity to lead the backline. Although he can be shaky at times when in possession, he stands out among the players in the Chelsea backline. The French international has only missed two league games for Chelsea this season, and we expect him to start the game at Stamford Bridge.

Centre back: Thiago Silva

With Levi Colwill and Trevoh Chalobah out through injury, the experienced Brazilian is expected to return to the starting eleven in the league for the first time since game week 24 against Crystal Palace. His experience will provide calmness at the back to complement the work rate of Disasi.

Right back: Malo Gusto

Gusto has emerged as one of the shining lights in this Chelsea team. The Frenchman has made the right-back position his own since game week 18 against Wolves. Gusto has displayed outstanding performances against top-level opposition in the league, becoming a real attacking outlet on the right side. He is not shy about delivering delicate crosses into the opposition box, contributing five assists in 20 league appearances this season.

Central Midfielder: Moises Caicedo

Moises Caicedo's stock has been increasing recently as he starts to find his feet alongside Enzo Fernandez at the heart of Chelsea’s midfield. He has shown glimpses of the quality that prompted Chelsea to fork out over £100 million to price him away from Brighton. The Ecuadorian midfielder will be expected to continue improving and bring some solidity to the Chelsea midfield.

Central Midfielder : Enzo Fernandez

Arguably the most talented player in the Chelsea midfield, Fernandez has put together some strong performances despite not hitting top gear this season. The relationship between him and Caicedo is starting to gel, and the duo will be unstoppable with time. Fernandez is starting this game in midfield alongside the hardworking Ecuadorian.

Attacking Midfielder:  Conor Gallagher

The 24-year-old Englishman has recently improved his game and contributed with some crucial goals to keep Chelsea's season alive. Gallagher has only missed one league game this season, the defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford in December last year. The Chelsea academy graduate injects valuable passion and energy into the game, and he is anticipated to deliver strong performances in this game at Stamford Bridge.
