Cole Palmer (No. 20) Central attacking midfielder, England

There's nothing else to be said about Palmer, other than that he is the most effective player in the league currently. He ranks second in big chances created (7), 6th in key passes per game (2.8), second in assists (4),a dn second in goals scored (6).

Noni Madueke (No. 11) Right winger, England

Madueke may be close to losing his spot, as his chance creation has been lacking. The hattrick he scored against Wolves, while impressive, is the only game he has scored in this season. He has also averaged a paltry 0.8 key passes per game and has created just one clear-cut chance.

Jadon Sancho (No. 19) Left winger, England

Sancho has three assists in three games, which is impressive. He has made the left wing spot his own, which should not be surprising considering that his competition is Mykhailo Mudryk. His dribbling has been superb too, completing 3 takeons per game at a 64% success rate. He has only gathered 0.57 expected assists (xA) so far, but he has been a net positive for Maresca's men since he came into the side.

Nicolas Jackson (No. 14) Center forward, Senegal

Jackson's spot is not in danger, as he has continued to show his effectiveness in the Premier League. He had a stinker in front of goal against Brighton, gathering 1.37 xG but failing to score. He has four goals and three assists already, making him one of the highest-ranked in the league for goals plus assists.
