Predicted Chelsea XI vs Middlesbrough: Chilwell starts in 4-2-3-1 formation

Mauricio Pochettino's wasteful Chelsea side were beaten in the first leg of the Carabao Cup Semi Finals by a brave Middlesbrough unit. And after a short break, Boro are set to travel to Stamford Bridge for the second leg where the home fans expect to watch their team make it to the finals.

1. Goalkeeper: Djordje Petrovic (Serbia)

The Serbian shotstopper made a total of four saves, two high claims, and recorded a pass success rate of 73.7% to return a WhoScored rating of 7.90 in the last game and has clearly cemented his spot between the sticks.

2. Right Back: Axel Disasi (France)

As reported by Nathan Gissing, Malo Gusto was suffering from a bit of muscle overload recently but it was nothing serious. So we could expect him to be involved next week and Disasi can fill in that role tomorrow.

"“Everyone knows the quality of Thiago [Silva]. He’s a very great player. He has lots of experience and every day I try to learn from him. I try also to help him with my strength. It’s good to play with him.”

3. Centre Back: Thiago Silva (Brazil)

The veteran has got to be one of the first names on the team sheet. His role cannot be undermined and his presence would be an absolute necessity.

4. Centre Back: Levi Colwill (England)

Benoit Badiashile may not be ready to start tomorrow's game and Colwill might get a chance to play in his natural position.

5. Left Back: Ben Chilwell (England)

CFC's vice captain returned to the matchday squad against Fulham and also came on in the second half of the game. Chilwell is expected to start but if Badiashile is in a better condition relatively, we might watch Colwill continue out wide.
