Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea travel to the Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Christmas Eve. With the game hitting the halfway mark of the season, CFC will want to avoid dropping points further as they plan to achieve European qualification.

Chelsea enjoyed a convincing victory over the Blades last weekend followed by a penalty shootout thriller against Newcastle United which booked their spot in the Semi Finals of the EFL cup. And with the likes of Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke returning to training, looking to join the matchday squad sooner than later: the Chelsea comeback is on the cards.

On the other hand, Wolves come into this game on the back of a 3-0 thrashing against West Ham United. There were doubts concerning multiple players but O'Neil confirmed that Craig Dawson, Nelson Semedo, Mario Lemina and Matheus Cunha will be involved on Sunday after recovering from their respective illnesses. They've also received a injury boost as the side is set to welcome key duo - Pedro Neto and Jose Sa to their playing XI.

Predicted Chelsea XI (4-2-1-3)

1. Goalkeeper - Djordje Petrovic (Serbia)

The Serbian International was not even considered for Cup games but he waited patiently for his chance. And when Robert Sanchez limped off the field, Petrovic knew that it's show time. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands and showed real character. One thing's for sure, the Spaniard is not going to have it easy when he returns from injury.
