A London derby at Wembley. It doesn't get much more thrilling than that. This 90 minutes was filled with some gems. One just glaringly stood out from the lot. Willian's free-kick was special. So was Hazard's sensational left-footed hit. Nemanja Matic's goal, though, was something else. Antonio Conte's reaction told the entire story. No keeper on the planet had a shot at keeping Matic out in the 80' on that day. Simply sublime from the defensive midfielder.

You dream of striking the ball that sweetly. It made it even more special because the Serbian is not a guy who finds himself at the top of the list in goal contributions at the end of a season. Matic scored just seven goals in her CFC career. Five of which were scored with his left foot.

None were more glorious and important than his pile driver from the Wembley parking lot. It sunk the hearts of Spurs and Pochettino. All Hugo Lloris could do was act as a spectator. Hazard gave Chelsea the lead. Matic tied the knot with a thunderbolt. Add that to an 87 percent pass accuracy on the day for Matic. A pretty good day at the office I'd say.

Sunday's Carabao Cup final at Wembley between Chelsea and Liverpool can be seen on Sky Sports in the UK and ESPN+ in the United States.
