These five Chelsea players are now up for sale with transfer exits looming

According to a report, there are five current Chelsea players who have been put up for sale, with transfer exits looming this January. The Pride of London name the quintet, and offer our verdict on each potential leaver. In addition to covering that story, Christopher Nkunku speaks to ChelseaFC.com after making his starting debut at Stamford Bridge in the win over Crystal Palace.

So, first on the list is fullback/wingback/winger Ian Maatsen. A footballer who Chelsea shouldn't sell, in my opinion. The Dutchman is clearly talented and versatile, so much so that Manchester City are now circling.

The remaining four supposedly unwanted Blues are as follows: Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja, as well as Malang Sarr. CFC would be wise to reconsider Gallagher and only loan Broja.

Interview from Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku

Goals from an improving Mykhailo Mudryk and the returning Noni Madueke handed the west London outfit victory against Palace. The team from south of the capital gave a decent showing and the margin was fine again. Nevertheless, the addition of Nkunku to the CFC front line will undoubtedly provide the required clinical nature in attack.

The Frenchman scored on his maiden Chels' outing versus Wolverhampton Wanderers, but failed to assist or net in the Eagles contest. Nonetheless, Nkunku's determined spirit, couple with technical and natural ability makes for an improved strike-force already.

Following the latest match on Fulham Road, the France international spoke to media. Nkunku said that he and his teammates played a good game; it was a "fight", he asserts. Furthermore, the former RB Leipzig man suggests Chelsea should have scored more, yet the most important aim was reached: three points. He added that he was happy, thanked the fans and envisioned a positive CFC future. Interesting.
