Possible that they be sold:

These players are somewhere in the middle where we can see scenarios where they stay and scenarios where they go. This will likely depend on the fee that Chelsea receives in return.

Renato Veiga

Renato Veiga is on loan at Juventus and after a hot start he has dealt with injuries and has struggled a bit. Juventus reportedly isn’t interested in him long term and he wants to be somewhere he can play centerback so another loan is more likely than a sale. Chelsea acquired him for only €14 million so if a club comes in with a big offer they could sell him but at 20 years old he is worth keeping around.

Joao Felix

Similar to Veiga, Joao Felix had a hot start at AC Milan but has since fallen out of favor with the club and their fans. Recent reports suggest he wants a move to Galatasaray but that is likely going to be another loan as his wages (170k a week) may be prohibitive for most clubs. That might be the best move for all involved as he could build up his value in a less competitive league.

Jadon Sancho

There was talk about Jadon Sancho being sent back to Manchester United but it appears Chelsea will be holding on to him at least through the summer. He is still a young player and will have plenty of competition but we expect Chelsea to keep him next season, even with reports that he is eyeing a move back to Dortmund. Maresca seems to like him and he meets the home grown requirement so don’t’ be surprised to see him in Chelsea blue next year.

Deivid Washington

Deivid Washington is an interesting young player who Chelsea acquired from Santos in 2023 and paid a hefty £17.1 million for his services. They also signed him to a 7-year contract with an option for an 8th. He is back on loan at Santos and has made just 2 appearances so far but it’s far too early to give up on a player who turns 20 in June. We expect further loans even if it takes a few more years before Chelsea make a permanent decision on his future.
