Cole Palmer: 8.5/10

Palmer showed extreme composure to slot two penalties past Ben Forster in the same game. He created the most chances and was impeccable in his ball carrying. He created zero big chances, though that is not particularly damning because no Chelsea player created big chances.

Nicolas Jackson: 5/10

Jackson was horrendous. His dribbling was abysmal, completing 0/5. He lost an overwhelming majority of his duels, losing 10/12 ground duels.

Malo Gusto (45'): 7/10

Gusto played well when he came on for the yellow-carded Lavia. His passing and defending were commendable.

Christopher Nkunku (76'): 5/10

Nkunku did nothing when he came on. He did contest three duels, but only won one. He didn't really make his presence felt, even though Chelsea dominated the later part of the game.

Noni Madueke (86'): N/A

Madueke's only action was to contest, and to his credit, win, a ground duel. He didn't really get a chance to impact the game, considering he came on with just four minutes of regulation time to go.

Renato Veiga (90'): N/A

Veiga managed to contest — and lose — three duels, despite coming on in the 90th minute.

Joao Felix (90'): N/A

Felix had a similar performance to Veiga.

Enzo Maresca: 8/10

Maresca made the right calls when the time came, and the Blues were better off for it.
