Enzo Fernandez

Enzo Fernandez has been a completely different player in the last two months. Since being dropped by Maresca due to a dip in his form earlier in the season, Fernandez has levelled his game and become one of the key players of the team.

The Argentinian midfielder has already scored three goals and bagged eight assists, which is his best return since joining the club in 2023. Moreover, he has been solid in the defensive end of the pitch by putting in tackles and intercepting the ball better than he ever has.

With the game against Ipswich expected to be an encounter where the Blues have the lion share of the ball, Fernandez would be expected to be a pivotal part in breaking down the lines. His ability to find players in tight spaces is something that is known to all, which is why he is going to be key to Chelsea's chances in the game against Ipswich.
