We invite the Blues fan base to join us watching all five of Chelsea's goals against Southampton from Wednesday night. Including analysis of every finish and set up, along with our thoughts on the game and performance of Enzo Maresca's men. The west London team are really coming into their own now. The fixture forecast ahead also looks astonishingly winnable for CFC as well.
Oh, and we also chat about supercool superstar Cole Palmer possibly poaching a Christopher Nkunku effort. There was a subsequent tongue-in-cheek apology from Palmer after the incident. What did the Chles support make of the England international's ruthless and clinical nature? Did the Frenchman respond to his teammate? And how far can Chelsea Football Club go this season?
The Chelsea goals
Axel Disasi got the Blues off to a wonderful start as he netted from a pinpoint Enzo Fernandez corner on just seven minutes. Disasi is only really playing due to the problem sustained by injury-plagued centre half Wesley Fofana. Reece James's usual absence also created space in the back line.
Back to the big defender's goal, and he took it well. Terrible defending and seemingly out of their depth goalkeepers in certain areas always helps a good set-piece. Disasi and his mates took full advantage of the situation.
The Saints' atrocious playing out from the back backfired for the umpteenth time of the evening at 17'. Nkunku was the one to ultimately capitalise on the almost unbelievable mistake. The ever-threatening Noni Madueke supplied the assist after intercepting beautifully.
Stopper Joe Lumley can actually kick the ball fairly well on occasion. But SFC manager Russell Martin should probably be sacked just for putting his players in such awful scenarios without reprieve.
And Madueke was rewarded with his own goal on 34'. The Three Lions winger sent his marker into the box and shimmied his way right and left. Essentially the 22-year-old deftly dispatched into the corner in typical fashion. Top four appears totally feasible for CFC this campaign.
Now we come to Palmer the poacher. Jokes. Fantasy Premier League bosses were relieved to see the man many of them captained finally score.
On 76', the increasingly impressive Fernandez fed Nkunku. The France footballer couldn't quite get purchase on his effort, which may have been intercepted before it crossed the line. However, Palmer was on hand to tap in, much to the delight of FPL enthusiasts such as myself. Nkunku did manage a smile as his friend celebrated.
On 87', the astute signing that is Jadon Sancho scored too. Shedding his defensive responsibilities for a moment, Malo Gusto played a neat pass which Sancho disposed of with aplomb
