Chelsea Women begin their Barclays Women’s Super League campaign this week with two major ambitions: reclaiming the league title and going further in the Champions League.
With expectations high, Sonia Bompastor will be hoping for strong support from the stands throughout the season. But with Chelsea Women set to play across multiple venues, where will the Blues call home during the 2026/27 campaign?
The likes of Lauren James, Katie McCabe and Hannah Hampton will grace multiple grounds this season, with two new venues also set to host Chelsea Women across the Barclays Women’s Super League and cup fixtures.
For all of their home league fixtures, Chelsea will play at Stamford Bridge in a major step towards bridging the gap between the men’s and women’s teams. Whether you are watching from the Shed End or the Matthew Harding Stand, supporters will have the chance to get behind the Blues as they look to reclaim their WSL crown.

Chelsea announced the move back to Stamford Bridge in April, with the decision expected to generate greater matchday revenue while also helping the club attract a larger following. The iconic stadium will not only host WSL fixtures, but will also welcome Chelsea Women for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

For their Champions League group-stage fixtures and domestic cup competitions, including the FA Cup and League Cup, Chelsea Women will play their home matches at AFC Wimbledon’s new 9,000-capacity Cherry Red Records Stadium.
Located around six kilometres from Stamford Bridge in south London, the stadium is easily accessible via London’s extensive train and bus networks, making it a convenient alternative venue for supporters throughout the season.
Tickets for the opening game against Aston Villa and the other 12 fixtures will be available through the Chelsea website.
