Oscar and David Luiz started the match while Ramires and Willian began it on the substitute’s bench. Oscar scored the opening goal for Brazil in a slow first half. Ramires and Willian came on at half time replacing Hulk and Oscar respectively. Luiz asked to be taken off at the 60th minute mark but thankfully it seemed to be more of a fatigue issue rather than injury. He did have his right thigh wrapped after he was taken off but hopefully it is just a precaution. South Africa did not put up much of a fight in midfield but it was Ramires’s cross in the 80th minute that helped set up Fernandinho’s wonder goal. The Seleccao ran out 5-0 winners with a Neymar hat-trick and it was just another day’s work for Brazil in their world tour.
